Great Weather on Vacation

We had booked our vacation to Florida during one of the hottest times of the year.  Before heading down there, I was very concerned about how hot it might get for my youngest.  We had four days scheduled at the Disney parks and I remembered how unbearable the heat could get when you are waiting in line for a ride.  I have a baby who at the time was going to be four months old and although my oldest daughter and my husband and I could probably weather the heat, I couldn't put the baby through that.  I therefore started praying for good weather about a month before we were due to go.

Amazingly enough, we had great weather.  On three of the four days,  parts of the day were overcast which gave us a break from the heat.  On the day we went to our favorite park, Epcot, it was overcast the entire day and drizzled a little bit.  The drizzle felt so refreshing and we literally were in the park from opening until closing time.  The hottest day and the most unbearable day was during our least favorite park.  We went on the ride that my five year old was excited about, Star Tours, and then left after only three hours there.  Since there really was not much else at the park that we wanted to see, we all left happy, even my daughter.

Overall, I was so thankful that the weather was perfect.  Not once did my 4-month old cry because she was uncomfortable and in turn, my 5-year old was able to really enjoy her time at Disney.  Thank you Lord for answering even our smallest of prayers :o)
